HIPAA & Your Health Information
How we approach the privacy of protected health information.
Last updated: September 1, 2026
arcaneneuro.com is a marketing and informational website. This page summarizes, in plain language, how we approach the privacy of health information. It is not a substitute for our full Notice of Privacy Practices, which you receive as a patient.
This website versus your care
Browsing this site or submitting the Founding Membership or contact form does not create a provider-patient relationship and does not transmit protected health information (PHI). Please do not include sensitive medical details in the website form — we’ll gather any clinical information securely once you begin the intake process.
When HIPAA applies
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) protects individually identifiable health information held by covered health-care providers. Once you become a patient of Arcane Neuro Optimal, the health information created and maintained as part of your care is protected under HIPAA and applicable Florida law.
Our commitment
- We limit access to your health information to the clinicians and staff involved in your care.
- We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect it.
- We do not disclose your health information without your written authorization, except as permitted or required by law (for example, for treatment, payment, health-care operations, or legal requirements).
Notice of Privacy Practices
Before or at the start of treatment, you will receive our full Notice of Privacy Practices (NPP). It describes in detail how your health information may be used and disclosed and the rights you have regarding that information.
Your rights as a patient
As a patient, you generally have the right to inspect and obtain a copy of your health records, request corrections, request confidential communications, and receive an accounting of certain disclosures. These rights are described fully in the Notice of Privacy Practices.
